Installing and configuring ALSA, JACK, & JAMin on Red Hat 7.3

This document describes how to install and configure ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) , JACK (Jack Audio Connection Kit) , and JAMin (JACK Audio Mastering interface) on Red Hat Linux 7.3. It will also cover a few other prerequisites for ALSA, JACK, and JAMin. Most of this HOWTO will also apply to other distributions of Linux but there are some very specific Red Hat 7.3 issues.
